Dearest Ava- Part Two

Well birthday week has begun- Ava you will be two in three days! I'm an emotional roller coaster but I figure that's a mother job! The thought of how another year has flown by has had me thinking of all the days ahead. I know there will be more moments of potty training, taking apart your crib and exchanging it for a toddler bed, trying new foods, learning, and lots of playing in store for you. I know that the minutes will feel long, but the days will go by quickly. I know that you will grow even more- God willing, and that it wont be long before your heading off to college or some other part of the world. I cry just thinking of how fast time will go, but I can't wait to do all of these new things with you and to teach you more. I can't wait to hold your hand but to also let you go and explore. I am sure it really won't be long before you are telling and teaching me something, but until then-

You know there's a light that glows by the front door,
don't forget the keys under the mat.
When childhood stars shine,

Go to church cause your momma says too.
Visit Grandpa every chance that you can.
